What The Buyers Say about the Honeywell HS-216E Oscillating Fan

Below you will see a few buyer's comments

This fan is strong and sturdy and I didn't have any issues in the last 1 year.

It is easy to adjust the height and tilt of the fan and is also easy to assemble which is very useful.

Great fan, solid heavy metal base, not very noisy, does tilt to floor and you can adjust the height.

What Buyers Didn't Like

There were some bad reviews, and as you have already seen, around 6 out of every 100 buyers gave this one just one star in terms of rating. We always like to find out why that is the case.

The general summary of the complaints were that the fan was too noisy, and it didn't generate enough air. Some buyers also said that, it was a nightmare to assemble.

The instructions are about as close to useless as you can get. However, with a little common sense, this is not actually that hard to do. I found a video on YouTube, where you can see a lady putting this fan together.

It does take a little time and patience, but you will get there, and it does do a good job once assembled.

This is often an unknown problem for many buyers. Some of these fans can get quite noisy, especially when they are on the highest setting. Buyers generally said this one was very quiet, on the lowest setting and was slightly noisier as the speeds increased.

Verdict on theHoneywell HS-216E Oscillating and Tilt Stand Fan

Honeywell HS-216E boxed

This fan came out at number 2 on our highest rated list of all the pedestal fans on the UK market. At around £55, and with a decent rating, this is a good enough fan for most home uses, or for around the office.

Like many of these pedestal fans, this one does have plastic blades. They do however still generate quite a lot of air movement, though personally we prefer the metal blades, as those tend to last longer.

This Honeywell HS-216E is good as it is powerful, oscillates and the height can be adjusted. That allows you to be in control of the airflow, and especially the direction of the airflow.
